Students from all years at Middlecott School were invited to take part in a cooking competition. They had to cook and present a savoury main dish of their own choice. Dishes produced ranged from whole trout to vegetarian butternut squash and quorn tart.

All the competitors did exceptionally well and produced good looking dishes that were all edible!
Teachers and Governors were involved in the tasting and judging of the dishes. They found it incredibly hard to make a decision as everyone who entered had done really well.
Eventually it was decided that highly commended were Louis Sheridan and Robert Palmer. In reserve place was Jessica Houghton. Going through to the local competition, held at Boston High School, are Josh Hillier, Lauren Harvey and Callum McNulty.
We wish them all good luck in the next round of the competition.
